Terms of Use

Terms governing use of theopslayer.com.

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms govern your use of theopslayer.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

Who runs this site

The site is operated by The Ops Layer. Contact: vishnu@theopslayer.com.

Information, not advice

Everything on this site, including articles, examples, and the Execution OS description, is general information. It is not consulting advice for your company, and it does not create a client relationship. Advice is given only under a signed engagement.

The Snapshot

The Execution Architecture Snapshot is free. It is a hypothesis built from what you report, reviewed by a person, and it comes with no warranty of accuracy or completeness. It is not a substitute for a diagnosis built on evidence. We may decline to produce a Snapshot, for example where a submission is incomplete or outside the companies we work with.

Engagements and pricing

Prices shown on the site are indicative and confirmed in writing, with scope, before any engagement begins. Every engagement, including the 7-Day Clarity Sprint and the Execution OS Install, is governed by its own written agreement. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement prevails.

No guarantee of outcomes

We do not guarantee results, on this site or in any engagement. What we commit to is set out in each engagement agreement: senior attention, an honest diagnosis, and baselines measured so that improvement is a number rather than a claim.

Intellectual property

The Execution OS, the evidence-states method, the frameworks, diagrams, and written content on this site, and any downloadable documents belong to The Ops Layer. You may read, share links to, and quote short extracts with attribution. You may not copy, adapt, or resell them, or present them as your own, without written permission.

Names of other companies

SolarWinds, OLIVER Agency, Dassault Systèmes, Netflix, 3M, Google, and the other organizations named on this site appear as descriptions of prior operating experience through employment and agency roles. They are not clients of The Ops Layer and no endorsement is implied. Their names and logos belong to their owners.

Testimonials

Testimonials are from former colleagues and managers at prior employers, quoted with their name and title. They describe work done in those roles, not engagements by The Ops Layer.

Using the site properly

Please do not:

  • submit false information or someone else's details through the forms
  • try to break, overload, or get around the security of the site
  • scrape the site or its content in bulk
  • use the site for anything unlawful

Availability and liability

The site is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we do not promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the extent the law allows, The Ops Layer is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or the free Snapshot, and our total liability for use of the site is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections the law of your home country gives you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
